DESCRIPTION:Fantasm Orlando 2021 is a haunt and horror convention on October 1-3 at the Rosen Shingle Creek. And the hours are Friday 9 a.m.-2 a.m.\, Saturday 9 a.m.–2 a.m. and Sunday 9 a.m.-6 p.m. In addition\, tickets for Friday $35\, Saturday $40\, Sunday $30\, and a three-day pass is $55. In addition\, he also wrote and directed numerous films including As Night Falls\, Experiment 7\, Frost Bite\, and the award-winning 100 Tears. \n \n  \nJames Jude Courtney\nJames Jude Courtney is an actor and stunt performer most known to horror fans as Michael Myers from the 2018 reboot of Halloween. (we found an interesting article where he reveals his favorite kills from the movie!). In addition\, he is known more broadly to the fandom for his portrayal of Der Kindestod in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode “Killed by Death“. \n \n  \nNick Castle\nNick Castle played Michael Myers in the 1978 horror classic “Halloween” as well as numerous sequel and reboots. He also directed movies The Last Starfighter\, Major Payne\, and Amazing Stories. \n \n\nAdrienne Barbeau\nAdrienne Barbeau is an actor who began appearing in horror and science fiction films in the 1980s\, which include The Fog (1980)\, Escape from New York (1981)\, Creepshow (1982)\, and Swamp Thing (1982). \n \n\nMarli Renfro\nMarli Renfro was the body double to Janet Leigh’s character in the classic thriller “Psycho.” Her role included the shower scene\, one of the most iconic in history of film. \n \n\nTom Atkins\nTom Atkins is another actor has played many notable and memorable characters from 1980s films like The Fog (1980)\, The Ninth Configuration (1980)\, Escape from New York (1981)\, Creepshow (1982)\, Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982)\, and Night of the Creeps (1986). \n \n\nStacey Nelkin\nStacy Nelkin is an actor most known to horror fans from her role as Ellie Grimbridge is the 1982 horror film Halloween III: Season of the Witch. \n \n\nTommy Lee Wallace\nTommy Lee Wallace is known for directing major horror films like Halloween III: Season of the Witch\, Fright Night Part 2\, and It. In addition\, Wallace is a long-time collaborator of heralded horror director John Carpenter. \n \n\nP.J. Soles\nP.J. Soles is a horror actor from the 1970s who portrayed Norma Watson in Brian De Palma‘s Carrie (1976)\, Lynda van der Klok in John Carpenter‘s Halloween (1978). She is also known for her role as Riff Randell in Allan Arkush‘s Rock ‘n’ Roll High School (1979). \n \n\nCamille Keaton\nCamille Keaton is known for her roles in the 1978 cult classic I Spit on Your Grave\, and for the 2019 sequal I Spit on Your Grave: Deja Vu. \n \n  \nReason # 2: Top make-up and FX artist Christopher Nelson is at Fantasm Orlando 2021\nChristopher Nelson is a make-up and special effects artist who has won an Academy Award and Emmy Awards during his three decades of work in film and TV. \n \nA sampling of his horror work includes American Horror Story and The Walking Dead as well as Halloween (2018)\, Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends. And some of his comic book films include Sin City\, Kill Bill\, Suicide Squad\, Deadpool\, and Avengers: Infinity War. \n     \n  \nReason # 3: Fantasm’s Shock Reel Cinema Film Festival showcases new horror talent\nFantasm’s Shock Reel Cinema Film Festival is looking for the best horror content it can find. If you’re up to the challenge\, here is the submission form. Twice-daily screenings bring attention to new horror talent. (check Fantasm webpage for updated times and location of screenings). \n \n  \nReason # 4: The Creature Call Costume Contest is a must-see at Fantasm Orlando 2021\nCalling all creatures with a competitive spirit! Costumers take the stage to show their talent on Saturday. And on the runway\, contestants face-off against each other for the Best in Show prize. The Creature Call Costume Contest is one of the most popular activities at the annual horror convention. \n \n  \nReason # 5: The Faces of Fantasm: Prosthetic Makeup Challenge is a live\, real-time\, SFX competition\nHere’s the rules. There are eight teams of two people each (one SFX artist and one model). Teams have one hour to transform their models into their original horror characters. And\, teams get mentors\, among them is Scott Fensterer\, from SyFy Network’s series Face-Off.
