Florida Cosplay Digital Magazine features talented cosplayers throughout Florida. The free publication, which began in early 2020 and is soon releasing the sixth issue, is seasonal and spotlights a wide range of cosplayers and a broad spectrum of characters with budgets that run the gamut from expensive to thrift shop.
Wide range of cosplayers
The magazine features a wide variety of talented cosplayers, some with many years of experience and others just beginning in the craft. The magazine includes cosplayers who are very young, like babies and toddlers, and those who don’t want you to know their age (they’re old.)
Broad spectrum of characters
All types of characters are highlighted, ranging from superheroes to anime to gaming to Broadway to horror to pop culture to a furry (yes, we have featured a furry.) Some characters are among the most popular at the time, while others are more obscure. And, the publication includes crossover cosplays where different characters are assembled into one costume. Lastly, original characters (OC) are welcomed, provided there is sufficient background information to help readers understand the cosplay.
Budgets from expensive to thrift shop
When it comes to cosplays, we focus on the talent, not the cost. Some of the cosplays featured are expensive and intricate, while other are low-budget but high-creativity. We are in amazement of those incredible cosplays that take months and hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars to create, yet we also adore those fantastic cosplays assembled from materials purchased at a thrift shop.

Regardless or your age, level of experience, type of character or cost of costume, if you’re a talented cosplayer then Florida Cosplay Digital Magazine is constantly searching for you. Help us find you by using three tips when you submit to our magazine:
Tip # 1: Complete the entire submission form
All of the cosplayers featured in the magazine completed the entire submission form, which should tell you something.
Tip # 2: Snap good photographs
Professional photos are great, but not necessary. Chances are your phone camera takes a moderate-to-high-quality image we can use. And you don’t need to have professional photography training provided you get a good snap of your cosplay. Here are some tips on taking good photos with a phone.
Tip # 3: Review past magazine issues
Take a look at past issues to get a better idea of what we feature and include in the magazine.
A couple more things to know
The magazine doesn’t use real names, just Instagram names. And, there are no prizes for appearing in our free magazine, just the attention and adoration from the nerds, weirdos and odd people who call themselves cosplayers.
