It’s hard to believe that a new year is already here! It feels like just yesterday we were celebrating the first cons of 2025 and putting together our cosplans for a wonderful year ahead. Getting to start it all over again, and having our first con be the amazing Brick City Con in Ocala, seems like the perfect fit for 2026!

This is a con I’ll be very sad to miss myself, as some of my favorite artists have signed up to vend! It’s always fun to see small creators and artists at your favorite con, and Brick City is packing in a great show of local talent!

WhimsyKeishop: If you want to pick up some of the most kawaii earrings and gifts you’ve ever seen. You just have to check in with WhimsyKei! The sparkles and endless designs always impress!
reason #4. Cosplay! Cosplay!! Cosplay!!!
It’s always amazing when a community comes together and meetups begin to happen, friendships form and the cosplay duos of our dreams get made into reality. A lot of that couldn’t be possible without our amazing internet, of course, but I fear a lot of us would never leave the internet collab space if it wasn’t for cons. These spaces create such a talent filled, fun space for those looking for community. If you’re thinking about getting into cosplay, we urge you to give it a shot. You don’t have to compete to have fun. A simple Morty (Rick and Morty) T-shirt costume, or a hat can be your first go.
Step out of your comfort zone and thrive!

Mirai Made Cafe is awesome! With it’s unique cyperpunk twist on our favorite cafe style con event! These maids really know how to put on a show. With great personalities and diversity in all aspects, we urge people to check out their Instagram and respectfully get involved in this super creative fun group!
