TheyLoveMe.KC’s debut cosplay as the Bomb Devil was nothing short of explosive! Hard to believe this was their very first build, and it’s an absolute knockout. The craftsmanship is sharp and deliberate, starting with a striking EVA foam helmet that captures the character’s chaotic edge with precision. But the real showstopper? That belt. Layered with six rows of faux dynamite, ten across, each piece individually constructed from foam piping, wrapped in black adhesive foam, and hand-stuffed to give it that perfect dimensional weight. It’s wildly smart design and meticulous execution. They even shared a full buildbook, offering a peek into the process behind the polish. And while they modestly asked us to ignore the shoes (not their go-to heels), the overall silhouette still landed with a Florida twist!

Honorable Mention Vivicectionvi
Vivicectionvi was an absolute delight, equal parts clever, crafty, and cool, with a personal twist on our favorite blue-braided Zaunite!
This was a Vivisectionvi original remix! She brought the shine with added trim, gave the belt some bite, and added the cutest little touches to the shoes that made the whole look pop!
Her version had , attitude, and just enough sparkle to stop traffic and packed with personality, a wonderful tribute to the character with her own signature flair!
Honoreble Mention Yaboi_Grizzly_!
Yaboi__Grizzly_ had a really explosive take with this cosplay!
This walking inferno of creativity was our staff pick for a reason, and once you see the look, it’s obvious why. His explosive take on the character was packed with genius-level resourcefulness.
Let’s start with the build: a repurposed protein powder keg as the base for his flamethrower? Iconic. Add in parts from an old vacuum, and suddenly you’ve got a weapon that looks like it came straight out of a post-apocalyptic arsenal. It was raw, rugged, and ridiculously cool.
And the fit? A modified sweater and sweatpants combo *in Florida*. With a mask. That’s not just dedication, that’s full-send cosplay commitment.
From the clever use of materials to the fearless wearing in the heat, this cosplay was smokin’ in every sense of the word. Absolute fire from start to finish.
