Central Florida Comic Con 2023 (CFCC) is a comic con coming up on January 21-22 at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland. And Florida Comic Cons, a news site that reports on conventions and cosplayers, is here to give you 4 big reasons to attend the fifth annual event. Tickets are $30 for Saturday, $20 for Sunday, and $40 for a weekend pass.
Big reason # 1: More than 40 scheduled guests at Central Florida Comic Con 2023
CFCC features a wide range of guests from voice actors, comic creators, and cosplayers to a ghosthunter, a rapper, and a wrestler. Voice actors include Sonny Strait (Dragon Ball, One Piece, Fullmetal Alchemist), Josh Grelle (My Hero Academia, Yuri! On Ice, Attack on Titan, Soul Eater), and Emily Neves (My Hero Academia, Himouto! Umaru-chan, Fruits Basket, Black Clover, Tokyo Ghoul, Angel Beats). And comic creators include Dan Parent who is widely known for his work on Archie Comics as well as artists Amanda Conner (Harley Quinn, Supergirl), and Jimmy Palmiotti (Harley Quinn, Painkiller Jane).
Big reason # 2: Power Rangers will be there with a special dedication
Power Rangers actors Jason Faunt, Steve Cardenas, and Nakia Burrise will be at Central Florida Comic Con 2023, which is being dedicated to Jason David Frank, who recently passed away. “To us, Jason was an icon, a legend, and most importantly: a friend. He made an incredible impact on our con community, that will never be forgotten,” according to the CFCC Facebook post. In addition, CFCC created a new award for its Cosplay Contest titled “The JDF Award,” which will be presented to an exceptional cosplayer in Frank’s honor. “This is just a small way for us to say thank you to Jason, for all that he has done for our community and for us.”
Big reason # 3: Phineas and Ferb will be at the comic con
Voice actors Vincent Martella and David Errigo of the popular cartoon Phineas and Ferb will be at Central Florida Comic Con 2023. The two voice actors are hosting a panel on Saturday at 11 a.m. that focuses, obviously, on Phineas and Ferb!
Big reason # 4: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be there
There are two TMNTs for you to meet: Judith Hoag who played April O’Neill, and Kenn Scott who portrayed Raphael.
