Fandom In Focus celebrates creators who capture the atmosphere, creativity, energy, and cinematic style of cosplay culture. From dramatic cosplay photography and character-inspired portraits to convention reels, cosplay edits, and cinematic video content, this contest is designed to spotlight photographers and videographers who turn cosplay into visual art.
Awards & Recognition
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place trophies and prize packages
- Cash prizes (photography total $250, videography total $150) awarded
- Contestants featured and winners promoted on Florida Comic Cons and event websites and social media
How It Works
Simply apply for a media pass at a participating fan con, and check the box indicating you want to participate in the Focus in Fandom contest. Capture photos or videos during the event, and you’ll be emailed the submission form for the 30-day post-event submission period. After submissions close, entries will be posted online for public audience voting across Florida Comic Cons and event platforms.
