Star Wars
Francia is best known for his work on Star Wars, which includes Star Wars Legacy, a comic series; and Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2, a graphic novel (published by Dark Horse and Marvel).
Star Wars Legacy
Star Wars: Legacy begins 126 years after the film Return of the Jedi. The comic series follows Cade Skywalker, who is a descendant of Luke Skywalker. Cade also was trained as a Jedi, but abandoned the New Jedi Order following its defeat by the One Sith. In an attempt to avoid being identified as well as to run away from his destiny, Cade dropped his last name and Jedi heritage while being reluctantly guided by Luke, who is a Force ghost. The series begins with a spectacular attack on the Jedi Temple.
Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2

In addition, Mass Effect: Evolution looks into the origin human-survivalist group called Cerberus, with the story opening during the First Contact War between humans and Turians.
Batman
Batman Legends of the Dark Knight mostly focuses on the early years of Batman’s career, which are referred to as “Year One” stories. Also, the various DC comic books under the title are usually referred to in abbreviation as “Legends of the Dark Knight.” The original series launched in 1989 following the incredible popularity of Tim Burton’s film Batman.
Doom Patrol
Doom Patrol is a group of misfits who have super powers, which (of course) cause them to be alienated from society. Often called the “world’s strangest heroes,” the original team included the Chief, Robotman (Cliff Steele), Elasti-Girl, Negative Man, Beast Boy and Mento.
Volition
Volition is a critically-acclaimed, six-issue science fiction series with the art by Francia. The story, called a “science fiction fable,” begins in a not-too-distant future when artificial intelligence has created a race of robots that serve humans. Robots fight for equal rights while trying not to be eliminated by a debilitating virus called “Rust.”
