Experience the vibrant pop-culture of Japan steps away from Pensacola’s sunny beaches. HizashiCon offers attendees three fun-filled days of music, cosplay, and anime. Join us in your Halloween best on Friday, October 31st, for a concert at The Rex Theater featuring Vocaloid and Utaite singers, video game musicians, and a Visual Kei star straight from Nagoya, Japan. November 1st is the highly anticipated HizashiCon convention day! Bring your best cosplay or favorite fandom T-Shirt for hours of panel programming, Maid Café performances, the cosplay contest, idol festival, and J-Fashion show. Gamers young and old are invited to participate in video game tournaments scheduled throughout the event in the game room. Get your holiday shopping done early, or pick up something nice for yourself in our dedicated Artist Alley and newly expanded Vendor Hall. Finally, meet the voices of some of your favorite characters in our Guest Hall. Though the convention doors close, the party keeps going over at The Handlebar 850 where our talented lineup of nerdcore artists will dance the night away with themed drinks and good vibes. Wind down at Coastal Cat Café on Sunday, November 2nd, with our special Paws & Pixels event. Wear your favorite cosplay and play anime/video game trivia with rescue cats and cute café drinks. Who knows, you may leave with a new fur-ever friend!
