Comic con fans delight! July is packed with four of Florida’s most amazing comic and anime conventions: Florida Supercon, Bold Matsuri, METROCON, and Tampa Bay Comic Con.

Florida Supercon

Miami Beach, July 8-10, Miami Beach Convention Center

Florida Supercon is a comic convention with a little bit of everything for everyone. Meet celebrity guests and anime voice actors, such as as Adam Savage and Erica Harlacher. Go to panels to learn to play D&D or how to start your own geeky business, along with tons of other activities.

Tickets

Tickets are on sale with two different levels of badges. General admission starts at $47 for adults and $10 for children, while the Premium Package starts at $250 and includes premium seating at select panels and provides access to a private lounge, among other bonuses.

Bold Matsuri

Jacksonville, July 9-10, The Prime Osborn III COnvention Center

Bold Matsuri is one of Jacksonville’s largest anime and cosplay festivals. Meet your favorite voice actors, cosplay guests, and visit the Maid Café.  Additionally, you’ll have the chance to take part in the cosplay contest and attend fandom meetups to get great photos of your cosplay.

Tickets start at $35 for adults and children get in free with a purchasing adult.

METROCON

Tampa, July 15-17, Tampa Bay Convention Center

METROCON is Florida’s largest anime convention with more than 400 hours of content scheduled. Check out major activities like the Human Chess match, the Fantasy Masquerade, and the Metro Fire Show.

Tickets start at $35 for adults when purchasing online. Also, any tickets bought at the door must be paid for with a credit or debit card. No cash will be accepted at the door.

Tampa Bay Comic Con

Tampa, July 29-32, Tampa Bay Convention Center

Tampa Bay Comic Con is Tampa’s largest comic convention. Watch the lip sync battle, participate in the cosplay competition, or laugh with the Penguin Knife Fight comedy troupe.
