Lake Collect-A-Con 2021 is scheduled
Lake Collect-A-Con is June 6 from noon-6 p.m. at Lake Square Mall in Leesburg, Florida. The event, in its eleventh year, was previously in Mount Dora, but has since moved to the more spacious accommodations of Lake Square Mall.
Celebrate Captain America’s 80th anniversary
Lake Collect-A-Con is highlighting Captain America’s 80th anniversary at the show. It was March, 1941 when Jack Kirby and Joe Simon, who would later become comic book legends, brought Steve Rogers and Captain America into the comic book world. Marvel Comics is celebrating in many ways, which includes a giant-sized special called “Captain America Tribute #1.”
