Ultracon of South Florida

Ultracon of South Florida 2021 is scheduled

Ultracon of South Florida is a comic convention in West Palm Beach, Florida. And the event in 2021 is scheduled August 28-29 at the South Florida Expo Center. Saturday hours are 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Attendees will have opportunities to meet guests, participate in panels and have fun at after-parties. Vendors and sponsors will offer lots of merchandise. And a gaming tournament with $10,000 in prizes will be held.

Vic Mignogna

Mignogna’s illustrious anime career started almost twenty years ago as Vega in Streetfighter II. Since, he has been in more than three hundred animated series and video games. He is best known for roles that include Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist, Broly in Dragon Ball, Tamaki Suou in Ouran High School Host Club, Qrow in RWBY, Zero in Vampire Knight, Death Scythe in Soul Eater, Fai in Tsubasa Chronicle, and Keldeo in Pokemon, to name only a sampling.

John Swasey

Swasey is a prolific voice actor. He has voiced hundreds shows and characters with Sentai Films, Fu-nimation, Rooster Teeth, ADV Films, Switchblade Films, Okratron 5000, Gearbox, Seraphim Digital and Illumitoons. In addition, he has acted in hundreds of radio and tv commercials, as well as several films including the cult favorite “Dazed and Confused.”

Larry Kenny

Kenny is best known as the voice of Lion-O in the original Thundercats as well as Bluegrass in SilverHawks. His recent work includes the TV series “Teen Titans Go,” and the critically acclaimed video game “Red Dead Redemption 2”.

Ultracon of South Florida ticket info

Ticket prices, if purchased in advance: Saturday tickets are $20, Sunday tickets are $15, and weekend tickets are $35. Teen tickets are $10. Kids aged 10 & under are free with the purchase of an adult ticket. In addition, tickets purchased at the door will be $5 more per ticket.
