September is a great month for comic cons in Florida, reports Florida Comic Cons, a news media website that covers conventions and cosplayers in The Sunshine State.
There are five comic cons this month to put on your radar screen. And the biggest convention is in south Florida. In addition, there are two cons in northeast Florida, one in central Florida, and one in southwest Florida. Barring the panhandle, most fans and cosplayers in the state are within a two-hour drive to at least one convention in September. We keep all of this on our Con Calendar.
September Comic Cons in Florida
Florida SuperCon in Miami Beach on September 10-12
Florida SuperCon is south Florida’s largest convention. And the annual event is typically held over the July 4th weekend. But this year, the event is in September as conventions continue to come back in 2021. (Editor’s note: Florida Cosplay Digital Magazine will be at Florida SuperCon looking for talented cosplayers to feature.)
Ocala Comic Con on September 11-12
Ocala Comic Con is a two-day event that is growing every year. In fact, this year’s event is moving to a larger location at the World Equestrian Center. Florida Comic Cons attended Ocala Comic Con 2019 and we really enjoyed the con-vibe!
Ancient City Comic Con in St. Augustine on September 17-19
Ancient City Comic Con is a three-day event known for hosting voice actors from movies and anime.
Daytona Beach Comic Con on September 18-19
Daytona Beach Comic Con is one of longest running comic, toy and collectable cons on the east coast of Florida.
Suncoast Fan Fest in Bradenton on September 24-26
Suncoast Fan Fest is a first-year event in Bradenton, Florida. Florida Comic Cons gives you “6 remarkable reasons to attend.”

Florida Cosplay Digital Magazine, published by Florida Comic Cons, attends many conventions in Florida in search of talented cosplayers. The magazine is published seasonally. In addition, Florida Cosplay Digital Magazine publishes special editions, photo galleries and blogs of conventions we attend. The magazine is free.
Seasonal issues
Seasonal issues focus on cosplayers and the characters they have chosen to portray. Cosplayer photos and interviews as well as character images and backgrounds are loaded in the seasonal magazines.
Convention issues
